I was at E3 one year just before KOEI got their UWO running and talked to the US reps for the company. They seemed a bit new at their jobs and not quite sure how to handle talking to gamers, let alone fans like me who REALLY wanted to see what KOEI was doing to give us our beloved Uncharted Waters games. I did get to see some previews of the UWO and it looked pretty good, but I didn't really care for the MMORPG format. Everything looked really "clunky" and awkward - and the US KOEI reps did too. 
Now granted, I have not looked at the UWO since - because I got involved with other games and was content to run UWNH and UW with DosBox or on the Nintendo for my nostalgic fun.
These games are amazing. One can only hope to find SOME KOEI rep somewhere who is amazed that we "older" gamers are still playing their silly little games...   Maybe eyes will open, but I doubt it. They've moved on. We're not the "in" crowd, so we're the neglected stepchildren. Oh well... 
Sure would like to hack into some of the newer versions, though. I'm a little into coding but I'm not knowledgeable enough to do serious hacking.
