CAN'T STOP IN LONDON/OTHER CITIES - 2008/07/27 09:29

beginner; i am playing as ali, i took a load of carpets from istanbul, to london, using auto-sail; i bought a second ship, left london to go to copenhagen; i was not able to stop and supply in london on my way back ? i was not able to stop in antwerp and amsterdam either ? thanks.

What is it exactly that you can't do? Transfer from the sea to the city screen, get in the port but not able to access the rest of the city?

i'm beginning to think what may have happened.

he bought a second ship. That means his only other mate, assuming his fist mate, became captain and thus his auto-sail & dock funtion was lost.. leaving a new player in the pickle of manual sailing & docking.

and/or he might not know that he needs to use the menu F4? > "port call" when next to a port on the sailing map.

I don't think he has the problem anymore though, or he would have returned tot he forum and his other similar post.
